Southern Chile

I bought my Lowa boots in 1999 to go hiking in Southern Chile - we hiked the glacier in Ushuaia. Even in freezing conditions on a scree slope the boots were great. Since then I have snowshoed in Canada, hiked Spanish mountainsides and a hundred other locations. I have also gardened in them.

Sadly, while hiking the Cabot trail in September this year, the boots gave out. They were amazing, comfortable like slippers, tough like iron and warm like a summer's day.

I had a wake for them, they were so good.

Where have YOU been in YOUR Lowa boots? Got a story?
